Heres everything you need to know about
getting to the Festival, food, seating
and souvenirs. Enjoy! |
| Pricing and Tickets (or the lack thereof) |
The Festival is FREE to the public! There are no tickets required for admission.
However, donations are greatly appreciated! Although the show is free, there are many costs. So give a "Bill for Will" when you get to the Park or send a check to the office. Either way, you'll be supporting the best FREE Shakespeare in St. Louis!
Wachovia Securities Festival Challenge Match
Wachovia Securities is proud to support Shakespeare Festival St. Louis and its commitment to making Shakespeare economically, culturally and socially accessible for the entire community.
While there is no ticket price to enjoy this fabulous evening of theatre under the stars, the Festival relies on the generosity of individuals, corporations and foundations to bring you this great gift of theatre each year. The annual costs of the Festival you are attending and the education programs in which our youth participate each year exceeds $1 million, and most of that is raised through donations.
If every person in the region donated just one dollar we could present several festivals each year and bring Shakespeare to more schools in more communities in St. Louis. Not everyone can afford to donate to the Festival, and so we appreciate the many civic-minded individuals who recognize the impact of the arts on society, who want to help others appreciate that impact as well. This year, Wachovia Securities has given the Festival a Challenge Grant. The challenge is to you, our audience, to help keep the Festival Free.
For every dollar in donations collected during the Festival, Wachovia will give a dollar, up to a maximum of $30,000. If we don't match it, we don't get it. If we match it, we get double the value of your donation. To keep the Shakespeare Festival alive and vibrant, we need your help.
Please consider giving a "Bill for Will" to keep Shakespeare free for all St. Louisans.
